Getting Involved
How do I get a stall?
Stall applications for WOMAD 2013 are now closed. Stall applications for WOMAD 2014 will be available here in May 2014.
Please note applying does not guarantee acceptance. The festival selects around 100 stalls each year for the food and retail areas, the Sustainable Village and the Village of Wellness. Applications from charities are also considered.
How can I get a job at the festival?
Generally speaking, we fill our contract positions at least 6 months before the festival with experienced staff and do not advertise.
How can I volunteer at the festival?
WOMAD uses around 150 volunteers each festival in areas including the info booth, WOMAD store (merchandise), on the Zero Waste team (keeping the park tidy), campsite and more.

Can I get work experience at WOMAD?
It may be possible to do an unpaid intern position depending on your course of study and the festival's needs.
How can I get media accreditation for covering the festival?
Media accreditation applications will be available online late October each year. There are a limited number of media passes available for accredited media only. All media pass requests and subsequent approval will be reliant on pre-festival coverage generated. Media accreditation applications for WOMAD 2013 have closed.
